Why do girls hate me?

I recently moved so I go to a new high school, I had alot friends at my old school., but the girls at this school completley ignore me unless they want something like to "borrow a piece of paper" I'm not mean I'm super nice I always try to be friendly but no one responds. I'm not ugly either so I just don't get it. Plus its a smaller school so there's no guys to hang around with I'm kinda out of options except for facebook but that only goes so far. Any advice? i know its lame but whatever it doesnt hurt to ask.
